Setup instructions to allow for realm based authentication for incoming email:

This document covers Microsoft Outlook versions 2002 and up.

  1. Open Outlook and click "Tools" then "Email Accounts", select "View or change existing email accounts" and click "Next".
  2. Highlight "pop.zona.net" and click "Change".
  3. Enter the following in the boxes:
    1. Your Name: first and last name
    2. Email address: full email address (xxx@zona.net)
    3. Incoming mail server: pop.zona.net
    4. Outgoing mail server: smtp.zona.net
    5. User Name: full email address (xxx@zona.net)
    6. Password: password
  4. Click "Test Account Settings", make sure "Log onto incoming mail server has a green check mark and the status shows "Completed".
  5. Click "Next" and then "Finish".
  6. Close Microsoft Outlook and restart it.
  7. This completes the setup.
